About Understand Your Canine
Most dog trainers learn how dogs work. I spent 15 years learning how humans work first — a career in psychology and behaviour before a single leash hit my hand.
That background isn't a footnote. It's the entire method. Because the dog at the end of the lead is responding to the human holding it — your stress, your timing, your patterns. Fix one without the other and you'll be back here in six months.
My approach uses two psychologies in parallel: the human mind and the dog's mind, working together. It's a collaborative model the dog training world hasn't caught up to yet. You're getting it first.
